Great park. Rangers were very helpful. CG sites are located among big boulders. Most have fire pits. Bathrooms (pit style) are about every 40 feet and clean. Great place to camp with kids. They had a blast climbing on the rocks. Generators are allowed 3 specified times a day for 2 hrs each. Ranger will let you know the times you can use them. There is no water in the CG.
Actually, Ramona Canyon Rv Resort was NOT destroyed in the fire. They have slight damage. And expect to be up and running in early December. The staff at the campground all got out safely. My family loves this campground and are very happy that it made it! The last time we were there they had repaired the miniture golf, updated pool it gas heated instead of solar. And things were very clean.
Well this park was interesting to say the least. We used it as a hub to Joshua Tree. Lots of residents. More residents than campers. Staff was flighty but nice. Had our sewer hose stolen at this park. Had to wear a different color wrist band for each day to gain access to pool and rec room. No tables at camp site. WIFI down. No trash cans on property. You leave trash at your site and they come get. Sometimes it was not picked up till afternoon.
This was a great park. The staff was very nice. The sprinklers were a problem, they did water our Rv. But the grass looked good. Sites are not perfectly level but it was no big deal of all the trips we have taken we have only stayed at one park that was level. Pool and spa were great. Bathrooms and showers clean and kept up. Club house was nice. Laundry facilities nice. We will be staying there again when we go to Utah.
Well this is one we will not be going back to. It is right next to train tracks that are used for freight trains 24/7. Bathrooms are dirty, toilets in mens and womens clogged, Tiles on shower floors cracked and missing. Only 10 chairs at pool. Smoking and drinking at pool. Weak electric service. We run 30 amps and it could not keep fridge cold. Had to turn to gas. Sites very uneven. Tents all over, way to many of them. 4-5 cars per camp camp site. Fishing lakes had lots of algae and dead catfish. For those of you who are brave and want to go site #85-98 looked pretty good have concrete slabs and shade tree's.
This was a very nice camp ground. Staff very friendly. They were working on their picnic tables while we stayed at the resort. Kids loved the pool and the children's spa that is kept at 98 degrees. Site was level. We had lots of trees. Concrete for patio was cracked but not a big deal. Playground was very nice. Tennis courts, basketball, horse shoes, shuffleboard was all great. We stayed here for 4 nights.
Campground is not maintained well at all. Sites are not level. Sprinklers right beside your site. Pool out of order. Miniature golf really crummy shape. Shuffle board was OK. Camp store was no good; most of the shelves were empty. They did have movies to rent for the kids. Land line phones did not work. We planned to stay here for 5 days and only stayed for 1 night.
This was a very fun park for our children. There are hills to climb and great rocks and mines to explore in the campground. Neighbor's fire pit was too close to the back end of our trailer. You could hear music coming from the off road vehicle sites below us at night. Overall it was a very nice park. We will be going back.
This was a nice campground. Kids had fun swimming, playing pool, fishing, playing on play ground, only problem we encountered was they use well water and their well pump is lacking. So we used the on-board water pump. Staff was very nice. Good place.
Only problem with this campground is that they say they have fishing and the pond is almost empty. And I never saw anyone catch a fish including my family. They had great shade trees. Our site was a little tough to get into. It was pretty steep. Site was pretty level though. Laundry rooms nice. We stayed here for 2 nights and are going back soon.
Great place to stay if your kids like fishing. They will actually catch a fish. Nice pool. Miniature golf area was nice. Site was level. Stream was right behind our site. Store was nice. We were sad to leave this camp ground.
